RIPPS (RIKENIntegratedPlantPhenotypingSystem)

The system automatically weighs and waters 120 pots of plants while conveying them on a conveyor belt, and observes the plants' condition 24 hours a day with a variety of camera systems. Soil moisture content can be set individually for each of the 120 pots, and the set value can be varied during the test period. In addition to Arabidopsis, the system has been used to cultivate quinoa, Brachypodium, and komatsuna.

CRIPPS

Crop cultivation system. Capable of transporting 42 pots of 12 cm diameter. Equipped with continuous wavelength LEDs capable of illuminating light intensity of up to 1000 μmol photon / m2 S, allowing observation of soybeans and other crops.
